Over the years we have worked hard to provide our clients with an excellent and affordable hunting experience. Loyalty to our regular clients, as well as customer satisfaction is always a high priority. Consequently, returning hunters often reserve many of our hunts. When planning your hunt with us, making an early reservation is recommended. Some of our hunts are often reserved several years in advance. If we are unable to accommodate your reservation request, our policy is to maintain a waiting list and notify you of the next available hunt. Although we will make every effort to honor a reservation and book your hunt as planned, a reservation does not constitute a contract nor is it a guarantee to book a hunt. All hunt bookings are subject to availability, acceptance of the deposit, and our final review and acceptance of the contract. We reserve all rights to offer a hunting contract as we are able and willing to do so. Our policy is to require a 50% non-refundable deposit to book a hunt. We will hold open a booking opportunity for two weeks after offering the hunt in order to receive the deposit. We also require that hunters and guests sign a contract, liability waiver including various physical and medical disclosures, and release when booking the hunt.
Our ranch hunting rules are required for safety reasons and also to promote good sportsmanship. They include the following: Our clients must be familiar with and fully comply with all Colorado Hunting Laws and Regulations. We require that our clients do not drink alcohol before or during hunting activities. Drinking alcohol while hunting is illegal. We also require everyone to keep all bullets out of the chamber of a rifle until they are ready to shoot. Having a weapon with a bullet in the chamber while inside a motor vehicle is illegal. Safety and following the law are our number one concerns! We do not allow clients to trespass or shoot across any of the ranch boundaries. We respect our neighbors. Party hunting and game law violations are not allowed and will be reported to the proper authorities. Due to the need for highly accurate and effective shooting, we request that our rifle season hunters use bolt action rifles for their hunts. The use of semi-automatic or single shot rifles is not encouraged. The use of pistols, muzzle loaders, bows, or any other non-conventional weapons are not allowed during our rifle season hunts . All clients, guests, guides, and employees are required to wear at least the required 500 square inches of DAYLIGHT FLOURESCENT ORANGE while in the field for any purpose, whether hunting or not hunting, during any big game season except archery. There will be no exceptions to this policy.
We take pride in providing attention to detail and professionally preparing for each and every group and guest that visits our ranch during the entire hunting season. For that reason we cannot accept any early check-ins. We ask that you arrive the day before your hunt in order to get settled in, sight-in rifles, and prepare for the hunt. We recognize that your travel plans may require you to arrive in the Craig area earlier than your scheduled arrival date here at the ranch. Since most of the area hotels/motels book up long before hunting season starts, be sure to make reservations early. We will be glad to assist you in booking area lodging services.

Anyone planning to hunt in Colorado should read and be familiar with this brochure
and learn the laws and regulations before applying for a license and/or hunting.
We recommend that if you want to draw a mule deer license for GMU 12 and 13, that you should have at least one (1) deer preference point prior to applying. We will help you apply a year ahead of the hunt for a preference point. If you do not draw a deer license, we usually have a very limited number of mule deer landowner vouchers available. Our landowner vouchers are only available for our clients that do not draw a deer license, family members, or other guests. We do not charge for vouchers and do not offer them for sale to the public or brokers.
